In an official visit aimed at bolstering defense cooperation, Türkiye’s Chief of General Staff, Gen. Metin Gurak, met with senior officials in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
He was received by UAE Defense Minister Mohammed Mubarak Fadhel Saeed Al-Mazrui and UAE Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Issa Saif bin Ablan Al Mazrouei.
The meetings, which included bilateral and delegation-level discussions, centered on advancing military relations between the two countries.
The talks concluded with the signing of official documents from the High-Level Military Dialogue Meeting, reaffirming both nations’ commitment to strengthening defense collaboration.
During his visit, Gen. Gurak also honored fallen UAE soldiers at the Wahat Al Karama (Oasis of Dignity) war memorial in Abu Dhabi, laying a wreath in a solemn tribute.
