Borsa Istanbul Experiences Slight Decline as Stock Market Opens Flat

On Tuesday, Turkey’s Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index saw a slight decline, opening at 10,079.29 points, down by 6.21 points or 0.06%.

This comes after a modest 0.10% gain on Monday, when the index closed at 10,085.50 points, with a trading volume of 103 billion Turkish liras ($2.93 billion).

The exchange rates for the Turkish lira showed the USD/TRY at 35.3227, while the EUR/TRY was at 36.7525, and GBP/TRY stood at 44.2765.

Gold remained steady at $2,652.39 per ounce, and Brent crude oil was priced at $76.22 per barrel.
