Qatari Prime Minister Condemns Indian Strike in Call with PM Shehbaz Sharif Offers Condolences and Supports De-escalation Efforts

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a phone call from the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. During the conversation, Prime Minister Sharif strongly condemned India’s cowardly attack on Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He informed that the attack resulted in the martyrdom of 26 men, women, and children, and the destruction of several mosques.

The Prime Minister stated that this act poses a serious threat to peace and stability in South Asia.

The Qatari Prime Minister expressed heartfelt condolences over the tragic incident and sorrow over the loss of innocent lives. He appreciated Pakistan’s role in promoting peace in South Asia and affirmed Qatar’s readiness to contribute towards de-escalating the current tensions.
