Fahrettin Altun, Director of Communications at the Presidency, stated at the TRT World Citizen Awards program held in Istanbul that Turkiye, as a stabilizing power, is playing an active role in establishing global stability.
He highlighted Turkiye’s growing importance and influence in international politics during the event.
Altun emphasized that under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Turkiye is actively striving for justice and truth on the global stage, reflecting Turkiye’s rising prominence.
He further noted that Turkiye is asserting its presence as a key global player in the international political arena.
Pointing out Turkey’s involvement in various global crises, Altun discussed how Turkiye is at the forefront of resolving international issues in multiple crisis zones, including the Russia-Ukraine war, Israel’s oppressive policies in Palestine, the Syrian conflict, the Libyan crisis, and the tensions between Ethiopia and Somalia.
He stressed that, under President Erdoğan’s leadership, Turkiye is playing an active role in resolving these issues.
Altun concluded by reaffirming Turkiye’s commitment to strengthening its role in promoting peace, stability, and justice worldwide.
