Türkiye Boosts Pakistan’s Food Security with State-of-the-Art Greenhouse

Pakistan’s Sindh Agriculture University has unveiled a cutting-edge training and control greenhouse, courtesy of Türkiye’s Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).

This innovative facility is set to revolutionize agricultural research and education in Pakistan.

Equipped with modern technology and powered by renewable solar energy, the greenhouse promises to enhance food security and promote sustainable agriculture in the region.

The project is a testament to the growing partnership between Pakistan and Türkiye.

TİKA’s collaboration with Sindh Agriculture University has yielded several successful projects, including the distribution of wheat seeds to flood-affected farmers and the provision of home gardening kits to women in Karachi.

The new greenhouse is expected to support academic research, public and private institutions, and farmers in addressing production challenges and diseases.

By sharing its expertise and technology, Türkiye is helping Pakistan achieve its agricultural development goals.
