A high-level meeting was held at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry between the Turkish Commercial Attaché, Mr. Nurettin, and representatives of the Lahore business community.
A large number of local businessmen attended the meeting, where the focus was on enhancing and strengthening Pakistan-Türkiye trade relations. The attendees shared their suggestions and informed the Turkish Attaché about various ongoing challenges.

Mr. Nurettin reaffirmed Türkiye’s commitment to providing full support and trade facilitation to Pakistani businesses. He stated that as a representative of the Turkish government, he has a clear mandate to promote bilateral trade by offering necessary facilities and cooperation.

He also highlighted Türkiye’s goal to increase bilateral trade volume to $5 billion, a target previously announced by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during his visit to Pakistan.
Malik Jahangir, Convener of the Pakistan-Türkiye Business Committee at LCCI, emphasized the need for stronger trade ties among Muslim countries to stand united against global conspiracies.
The Pakistani business community also expressed their unwavering support for Türkiye against any boycott campaign.
