Turkish Embassy in Islamabad Hosts Turkish Cuisine Week Celebration

The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Islamabad hosted a grand event in celebration of Turkish Cuisine Week, which brought together guests from various walks of life.

The aim of the event was not only to showcase Türkiye’s unique and traditional flavors but also to promote Turkish culture, hospitality, and bilateral relations.

The host of the evening, Türkiye’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Irfan Nezir Oglu, warmly welcomed the attendees and emphasized that Turkish food is not just about taste, but a cultural heritage that connects hearts. He stated, “A meal shared together connects hearts,” quoting a famous Turkish saying.

A wide variety of Turkish dishes were presented at the event, including Doner Kebab, Manti, Kazandibi, Baklava, Börek, and other traditional items that gave the guests a sense of home. Every bite told a story of Turkish civilization and tradition.

Participants greatly appreciated the flavorful and cultural experience and lauded the efforts of the Turkish Embassy for hosting such an event that continues to strengthen the ties between the two countries.
