Renowned Turkish actor Celal Al, known for his roles in the popular historical series Diriliş: Ertuğrul and Kuruluş: Osman, has extended a heartfelt message of solidarity to the people of Pakistan. In a touching statement, he offered prayers for the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue and praised the enduring brotherhood between Türkiye and Pakistan.
“As-Salamu Alaykum Pakistani brothers,” Celal Al began, warmly addressing the Pakistani people. He spoke of the deep historical ties between the two nations, recalling the powerful moments of unity during the Gallipoli War of 1915. “Your ancestors, Indian and Pakistani Muslims, stood with us in our most difficult times. From Lahore, financial aid was sent to the Ottoman Empire — a widow even sold her baby to support Anatolia. We have not forgotten these sacrifices.”
He paid tribute to the great philosopher and poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal, emphasizing the spiritual bond that connects both nations. “We love you for the sake of Allah,” he said. “God willing, we will meet in heaven.”
In his concluding message, Celal Al reaffirmed Türkiye’s unwavering support: “We stand with our Pakistani brothers who have always stood by us. Let us meet in prayers.”
Ending on a powerful note, he declared:
“Dil Dil Pakistan, Jan Jan Turkiye.”
