Trump Lands in Saudi Arabia on First Official Visit, Meets MBS Today

U.S President Donald Trump touched down in Riyadh for his first official visit to Saudi Arabia, kicking off a broader tour of the Middle East.

His arrival was marked by a high-profile welcome, with Saudi F-15 fighter jets escorting Air Force One into the Kingdom’s airspace a symbolic gesture reflecting the strategic importance of the visit.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman greeted Trump at the Royal Terminal, where they shared a traditional Saudi coffee ceremony before heading to scheduled engagements. Riyadh was decked out with Saudi and American flags, signaling strong diplomatic ties.

Trump’s agenda for the day includes key meetings with Saudi leadership, participation in the Gulf Summit, business forums, and the signing of several bilateral agreements. He will also visit UNESCO heritage sites and attend a formal state dinner hosted by the Crown Prince.

Following his stop in Saudi Arabia, Trump is expected to visit the UAE and Qatar. His tour is expected to focus on pressing regional matters, especially the Gaza crisis and Palestinian affairs.
