Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan today, focusing on the escalating situation in Gaza.
During their conversation, Ishaq Dar called for an urgent OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) summit to address the ongoing crisis.
Dar reiterated Pakistan’s strong commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and stressed the importance of establishing an independent Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
He also condemned proposals aimed at displacing Palestinians and emphasized that the land belongs to the people of Palestine.
Both ministers agreed on the need for continued cooperation and pledged to maintain close contact to address this critical issue.
