NATO Vows to Boost Ukraine’s Air Defense Amid Russian Attacks

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has pledged to provide Ukraine with additional air defense systems to counter the escalating Russian aerial attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure.

Speaking at a press conference in Brussels, Rutte emphasized that Ukraine’s security is a top priority for the alliance, and that NATO will do everything in its power to support Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression.

Rutte also accused Russia and China of engaging in hybrid warfare against NATO member states, citing acts of sabotage, cyber-crimes, and energy manipulation as examples.

The NATO chief’s comments come as Ukraine’s energy grid faces increasing pressure from Russian airstrikes, with many Ukrainians facing power outages and disruptions to essential services.

In response, NATO has pledged to provide Ukraine with additional air defense systems, including Patriot batteries and SAMP-T systems, to help protect the country’s energy infrastructure from Russian attacks.
