Malaysian Premier Welcomes Turkish President Erdogan with Official Ceremony

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim welcomed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan with an official ceremony in Putrajaya.

The two leaders will hold one-on-one talks and participate in an inter-delegation meeting to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss international issues, including the ongoing Gaza war.

After signing several agreements, they will address the press at a joint news conference.

Later, Erdogan will speak at the Türkiye-Malaysia Business Forum to further deepen economic ties.

Erdogan’s visit is part of a four-day tour that also includes stops in Indonesia and Pakistan.

On Monday, he delivered a speech at Universiti Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, where he was awarded an honorary doctorate.

In his speech, Erdogan highlighted the strong and friendly bond between Turkiye and Malaysia, despite their geographical distance.
