Major Breakthrough in Cancer Treatment: Russia Successfully Completes Preclinical Trials of Cancer Vaccine

Moscow — Russia has achieved a major milestone in the fight against cancer by successfully completing preclinical trials of its new cancer vaccine. According to the Russian Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA), initial studies have shown the vaccine to be safe and highly effective, marking a revolutionary step in cancer treatment.

The agency’s head, Veronika Skvortsova, stated at the Eastern Economic Forum that research on this vaccine had been ongoing for several years. In recent experiments, the vaccine significantly slowed tumor growth, reduced tumor size by 60 to 80 percent, and improved survival rates among test subjects. These findings demonstrate the vaccine’s remarkable performance in laboratory and animal trials.

Experts noted that although the vaccine is considered “ready for use,” it will not be immediately available to the public. It must first undergo several phases of human clinical trials and secure formal approval from the Ministry of Health. These steps are crucial to ensure the vaccine’s safety and effectiveness.

This development fulfills Russian President Vladimir Putin’s earlier announcement last year that Russia was nearing the creation of a new generation of cancer vaccines. According to global medical experts, if the vaccine also proves successful in human trials, it could mark the beginning of a new era in personalized and effective cancer treatment.
