KONYA HOSTS 751st ANNIVERSARY OF RUMI’S REUNION

Thousands of visitors have flocked to Konya, Turkey, to commemorate the 751st anniversary of Rumi’s reunion.

The 10-day celebrations, which began on December 7, feature traditional Sufi music, poetry readings, and Whirling Dervish performances.

Rumi’s legacy continues to inspire people worldwide with his teachings on love, compassion, and unity.

The event has drawn visitors from diverse backgrounds, including China, Iran, and Azerbaijan.

The ceremonies will conclude on December 17 with the Shebi Arus ceremony, marking Rumi’s reunion with his beloved companion, Shams-i-Tabrīzī.
