According to a statement from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, the cabinet has given the green light to the ceasefire and the plan for the return of hostages.

The agreement will take effect from Sunday, with its implementation divided into three phases over the course of six weeks. In the first phase, civilian prisoners will be exchanged, and negotiations for ending the conflict will take place.

In the second phase, Israeli military prisoners held by Hamas will be released, and Israeli forces will withdraw from public places in Gaza.

The third phase will involve the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza and the reconstruction of the region.

So far, photos of 33 Israeli prisoners held by Hamas have been released, while the names of 95 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli custody have also been made public.
