On the night of May 10, 2025, India launched a serious provocation by violating Pakistan’s airspace and targeting three airbases through missile attacks. However, Pakistan’s advanced air defense systems swiftly intercepted and neutralized the threat, preventing any significant damage.
In an emergency late-night press briefing, DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry revealed that Indian warplanes launched surface-to-air missiles aimed at the Nur Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi, Murid Airbase in Chakwal, and PAF Rafiqui Base in Shorkot. The attempted strikes were met with a robust and immediate response.
Addressing the nation with resolute confidence, DG ISPR issued a clear warning to India: “India must now wait.” These decisive words soon became a part of history as Pakistan launched a powerful counterstrike within hours.
In response, Pakistan Armed Forces targeted 26 Indian military sites, including Udhampur, Pathankot, Sirsa, Suratgarh, Barnala, Bathinda, Sasaram, Jammu, Akhnoor, Adampur, Halwara, Mamun airfields, the BrahMos storage site, G-Top Brigade Headquarters, and a supply depot in Uri. A total of 12 key military targets were confirmed destroyed.
Notably, Pakistan made it clear that no civilian areas were targeted only military installations were hit with precision, showcasing restraint and professionalism.
Within just five hours, Pakistan’s strategic strikes shattered India’s military pride. The operations highlighted the Pakistan Armed Forces’ superior training, advanced technology, and flawless execution, leaving a powerful message in their wake.
