(Shabana Ayaz) – Speaking to Türkiye Urdu, Turkish journalist Ismet Tas reaffirmed unwavering Turkish support for Pakistan, stating, “We stood by Pakistan before, we do so today, and we always will. We will never leave our Pakistani brothers alone.” She further emphasized that Türkiye will always stand shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan.
Ismet Tas stated that Pakistan has always been an important ally of Türkiye. “Pakistan stood with us even during the Battle of Çanakkale (Gallipoli), and they still do.”
Commenting on the ongoing discussions surrounding India’s alleged attempts to boycott Türkiye, she asserted that such efforts will never harm the strong friendship between Türkiye and Pakistan.
Addressing the Kashmir issue, she said, “We send a clear message to India – withdraw from Kashmir. If India intends to create a Gaza-like situation in Kashmir, it would be a grave mistake.”
Issuing a stern warning to India, she said, “India must honor its agreements with Pakistan, respect Pakistan’s territorial integrity, and not test Pakistan’s strength. Whenever India has tried, it has seen the consequences repeatedly.”
She further said that India has attacked our religion and conducted propaganda against Islam, “but we will no longer allow them to do so.”
Ismet Tas posed a question to the Indian public: “Why doesn’t India have a sincere friend like Türkiye?” She added, “If they look within themselves, they will find the answer.”
She stressed that, “We never attack anyone’s religion or beliefs we respect them.”
She warned India, “No matter how much technology or how many weapons you have, if you don’t have good friends, you will face defeat every time.”
In conclusion, she praised the enduring Türkiye-Pakistan friendship, brotherhood, and unity, saying, “Long live Türkiye-Pakistan friendship!”
She also acknowledged the achievements of the Pakistan Army, stating that it has demonstrated excellence on every front.
