India’s Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Defence held a detailed press conference addressing the ongoing tensions with Pakistan. The briefing was led by Wing Commander Vyomika Singh and Colonel Sophia Qureshi.
Wing Commander Vyomika Singh stated that there has been an increase in Pakistan’s military movements, which reflects its aggressive intentions. She revealed that Pakistan attempted several aerial intrusions targeting civilian infrastructure, resulting in the loss of civilian lives.
Colonel Sophia Qureshi added that despite Pakistan’s continued provocations, India has exercised restraint. However, she made it clear that if such provocations persist, India is fully prepared to respond appropriately.
During the briefing, Indian officials appealed to the international community to take notice of Pakistan’s aggressive actions and play a role in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
At the conclusion of the press conference, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs reiterated that while India desires peace in the region, it will not hesitate to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty and ensure the safety of its citizens.
