The summit saw the participation of Ukrainian President Zelensky, along with heads of state from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and other European nations.
NATO Secretary-General, along with the Presidents of the European Commission and European Council, were also in attendance.
At the start of the meeting, British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer emphasized the need for European nations to strengthen their defense efforts for Ukraine’s security, stating that the stability of the entire continent is linked to Ukraine’s security.
The summit focused on efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war and discussed broader European defense strategies.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni underscored the importance of preventing divisions among Western nations on Ukraine, noting that both the UK and Italy could serve as bridges between European countries.
