EU Announces PKR 350 Million Emergency Aid for Pakistan’s Flood Victims




Islamabad — The European Union has announced immediate emergency aid worth PKR 350 million for the flood-affected people of Pakistan. The assistance aims to support rescue, relief, and rehabilitation operations in the disaster-hit areas.


According to the EU spokesperson, this aid reflects solidarity with the people of Pakistan, assuring that they will not be left alone in this difficult time. The spokesperson stated that the funds will be utilized for rescue operations, provision of clean drinking water, tents, medical facilities, and other essential supplies.


The EU further assured that it will continue to work with the Government of Pakistan and relevant institutions to assist in the rehabilitation of affected families and to strengthen Pakistan’s capacity to respond to future disasters.
