China Holds Largest Military Parade in History, President Xi Warns of Decisive Choice Between Peace and War

Beijing — Chinese President Xi Jinping, at the country’s largest-ever military parade, warned the world that humanity now stands at a decisive juncture between peace and war. The historic event was attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The highly organized and symbolic ceremony marked the 80th anniversary of Japan’s defeat in World War II. The parade showcased China’s advanced weaponry, missile systems, supersonic drones, and overall military capability. The event aimed not only to demonstrate China’s defense strength but also to highlight its growing diplomatic influence on the global stage.

In his speech, President Xi stressed that prioritizing peace is the need of the hour given current global circumstances, yet a strong defense remains essential for the survival and dignity of any nation.

The parade came at a time when U.S. President Donald Trump’s trade sanctions and unpredictable policies have strained China’s relations with both allies and rivals. Analysts note that the event delivered a clear message to the world: China has achieved military self-sufficiency and is prepared to play a central role in global politics.
