Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, has launched its latest model, Grok 3, which it claims surpasses competitors like OpenAI and China’s DeepSeek in areas such as math, science, and coding.
Musk highlighted that Grok 3 boasts over 10 times the computing power of its predecessor and completed pre-training in January.
Named after a term from Robert Heinlein’s science fiction novel, Musk called Grok 3 the “smartest AI on Earth,” signaling the company’s significant leap in artificial intelligence development.
