Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, İrfan Neziroğlu, along with his delegation, paid a detailed visit to the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Turkish Consul General Durmuş Baştuğand Defense Attaché Nurettin Demir were also part of the delegation.
The President of Lahore Chamber of Commerce, Mian Abu Zar Shad, welcomed the Turkish Ambassador. Various business figures were also present during the visit.
Mian Abu Zar Shad, while welcoming the Ambassador, stated that Pakistan and Turkiye are two brotherly countries with many similarities. He emphasized that now is the time to initiate record trade between the two nations.
He requested the Turkish Ambassador to work towards increasing the trade volume between both countries to $5 billion.
He highlighted sectors like chemicals, textiles, automobiles, agriculture, and pharmaceuticals, where Pakistan and Turkiye could create excellent opportunities together.
Ambassador Neziroğlu, during the visit, mentioned that as an embassy, they are always ready to facilitate any progress in this regard.
He suggested that both countries should focus on producing goods together and then look at exporting and importing through a unified platform.


He further added that Turkiye and Pakistan can make significant progress by benefiting from each other’s resources, and this mutual cooperation could serve as an example for other Muslim countries.
