The United States has announced the cancellation of visas and green cards for individuals supporting Hamas US Secretary of State Mark Rubio stated that supporters of Hamas will be deported from the United States.
Mahmoud Khalil, a student who advocates for Palestine, was arrested by the authorities at Columbia University. Khalil’s wife is a U.S. citizen and a green card holder.
Rubio further mentioned that Khalil had played a prominent role in protests supporting Palestine. The US will continue to track down Hamas supporters, arrest them, and deport them from the country.
