Türkiye’s TIKA Renovates 2 Schools in Afghanistan, Boosting Education and Bilateral Ties

In a significant move to strengthen education and bilateral relations, the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) has successfully completed the renovation of two schools in Afghanistan’s Kunduz province.

The renovated schools, Halil Saadet Primary School and Martyr Abdul Samet Mahdum Secondary School, were inaugurated in a ceremony attended by local education officials, teachers, students, and village elders.

TIKA’s renovation project included repairing classrooms, installing solar panels, and providing additional equipment to support the educational needs of approximately 2,500 students.

Kunduz deputy director of National Education Kari Salih Mohammad Nikmel expressed gratitude to TIKA and the Turkish people, highlighting the significance of such projects in preparing young generations for a better future.

TIKA’s commitment to supporting education in Afghanistan is evident in its continued efforts to improve the quality of education in the region.
