Türkiye’s Trade Minister Ömer Bolat announced that Türkiye will assist Syria in developing its infrastructure and rebuilding institutional capacity during a two-day visit to Damascus. Bolat met with Syrian officials to discuss cooperation in trade, customs, transportation, investment, and energy.
He emphasized Türkiye’s commitment to supporting Syria in various sectors, from infrastructure to economic reforms, and noted the strong historic ties between the two countries.
Bolat also highlighted the potential for deeper bilateral relations moving forward, offering Türkiye’s expertise in logistics and industrial rehabilitation.
Bolat expressed confidence that Türkiye and Syria could strengthen their ties and work together for mutual growth and stability.
