In a stern warning to the separatist terrorist organization PKK, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared that the group has no option but to self-destruct.
Speaking at the eighth ordinary provincial congress of his ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Şanlıurfa, President Erdogan emphasized that the PKK’s 40-year-long campaign of violence and terrorism has yielded no positive results.
“The PKK has only brought blood, tears, and suffering to our land,” Erdogan said. “No goal can be achieved through violence, and it has been proven that terrorism yields no positive results.”
Erdogan reaffirmed his commitment to continuing the fight against terrorism and taking every possible step to establish peace and stability on Turkish soil.
“We will not allow terrorism to cast a shadow over our region,” Erdogan vowed. “We will promote stability, economy, trade, and humanitarian cooperation in the region, rather than tension and instability.”
