Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a phone call to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. During the conversation, recent tensions between India and Pakistan were discussed.
President Erdoğan expressed solidarity with the people of Pakistan and offered condolences for the martyrs.
He appreciated Pakistan’s policy of restraint and patience and stated that Pakistan’s proposal for an impartial, transparent, and reliable international investigation into the terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir is timely and appropriate.
President Erdoğan emphasized that Türkiye is ready to play every possible role in reducing tensions in the region, and diplomatic relations in this regard will continue.
This phone call reflects the brotherly bilateral relations between Pakistan and Türkiye.
