Turkish Ambassador İrfan Neziroğlu met with Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir, Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon.
During this meeting, discussions were held on bilateral relations between Pakistan and Turkiye, as well as other matters of mutual interest.
Speaking on the occasion, Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon stated that Pakistan and Turkiye are like two bodies with one soul. The people of Turkiye and Pakistan share deep ties rooted in common religion, brotherhood, culture and history.
He further stated that Turkish President Erdoğan is the best leader of the Muslim Ummah. The youth of the Muslim world admire President Erdoğan’s personality. The relationship between Turkiye and Pakistan continues to strengthen with each passing day.
The Chairman of the Kashmir Committee also appreciated Turkiy’es unwavering support for Pakistan’s principled stance on the Kashmir issue, highlighting that Turkiye has always supported Pakistan’s position.
In his remarks, Turkish Ambassador İrfan Neziroğlu mentioned that Turkiye considers Pakistan its home and will continue to fully support Pakistan’s stance on the Kashmir issue and other matters on regional and international platforms.
Turkiye is eager to enhance cooperation with Pakistan in all fields. Turkish schools established in various cities of Pakistan are providing students with modern education.
Cooperation between the two countries in education, culture, defense, and other sectors is further strengthening bilateral ties.
“We take pride in our friendly and brotherly relations with Pakistan,” said İrfan Neziroğlu.
The meeting was also attended by Pakistan People’s Party leader Sharmila Farooqi and other members of the National Assembly.
