Russian President Vladimir Putin condemned the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Indian-administered Kashmir, which killed 26 people.
In a phone call with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Putin expressed condolences and assured full support to India in its fight against terrorism.
The Kremlin emphasized the need for a strong and uncompromising approach to terrorism. The call comes amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, with New Delhi accusing Islamabad of links to the attack a charge Pakistan denies.

Putin and Modi also reaffirmed the strength of India-Russia relations, stating their partnership continues to grow regardless of external pressures.
