In a recent Federal Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the significance of the Gwadar Airport’s operational success, calling it a positive step for the country.
He emphasized that China’s investment of 230 million dollars in this key project is a testament to the strong friendship and developmental partnership between Pakistan and China.
The Prime Minister also condemned the ongoing efforts to destabilize Gwadar Port, describing the violence and confrontations aimed at undermining the port as actions by anti-Pakistan elements.
He termed these efforts as a major conspiracy against the country and reassured the nation that the government is fully committed to overcoming these challenges.
Addressing the ongoing conflict in Gaza, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over the loss of over 50,000 Palestinian lives, many of whom were women and children.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to playing an active role in the reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts in Gaza, standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The Prime Minister also commended the security forces for their efforts in addressing internal security challenges, particularly their fight against the khawarij (rebels).
He praised the sacrifices made by the country’s young soldiers, stating that the entire nation owes them gratitude for their courage and dedication to securing a peaceful future for Pakistan.
The meeting underscored the government’s resolve to strengthen national security, foster regional cooperation, and contribute to global peace and humanitarian efforts.
