Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, expressed his joy at the inauguration of Gwadar International Airport, describing it as a significant emblem of the strong friendship between Pakistan and China.
The Prime Minister remarked, “By the grace of Allah, another milestone has been achieved today.”
He highlighted that the operationalization of Gwadar Airport represents a major step towards improving Pakistan’s connectivity infrastructure and is a crucial move in transforming the vision of regional development under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) into reality.
Shehbaz Sharif further noted that the groundwork for CPEC was laid during Nawaz Sharif’s tenure, and the shared commitment to progress with Chinese leadership has brought the two nations closer to achieving their development goals.
Commending the world-class facilities of Gwadar International Airport, the Prime Minister called it a shining example of Pak-China friendship.
He also expressed gratitude on behalf of the entire nation to the Chinese government for their continuous support in Pakistan’s developmental endeavors.
