President Asif Ali Zardari is set to begin a four-day state visit to China on February 4, at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The visit, initially planned for November, was postponed due to a foot injury that required rest.
During his visit, President Zardari will meet with Chinese leadership, including President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang, and other senior officials in Beijing.
Discussions will focus on enhancing economic and trade relations, security cooperation, and the progress of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The two sides will also address regional geopolitical issues and their collaboration in multilateral platforms.
The president will also attend the opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Games in Heilongjiang province, marking the continued strong diplomatic ties between Pakistan and China.
This visit underlines Pakistan’s commitment to its strategic partnership with China, with a focus on mutual support for core interests and regional stability.
