President Erdoğan Highlights Türkiye’s Progress and Future Goals

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, speaking at the AK Party’s 8th Ordinary Provincial Congress in Balıkesir, celebrated Türkiye’s transformative achievements under his 22 years of leadership.

As the Republic approaches its 102nd anniversary in 2025, Erdoğan noted that the projects implemented and services provided during this period far surpass those of the previous 80 years.

He emphasized Türkiye’s role in hosting 3.6 million Syrian refugees and ensuring the safety of 4 million others across its southern borders during the Syrian crisis.

Looking ahead, Erdoğan outlined ambitious goals under the Century of Türkiye initiative, focusing on strengthening national security, reducing foreign dependency, and advancing innovation in defense, artificial intelligence, and energy.

Before the congress, Erdoğan met with families affected by a recent ammunition factory explosion and visited children injured in a school bus accident, reiterating the government’s support.

He urged citizens to unite behind Türkiye’s vision for 2025, aiming for continued progress and regional leadership.
