President Erdoğan Appeals to Muslim World to Aid Palestinians Post-Ceasefire

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Turkiye has appealed to Muslim countries to increase their support for the Palestinian people, who are now dependent on humanitarian aid following the recent ceasefire.

Speaking after a Cabinet meeting in Ankara, President Erdoğan urged the Arab and Muslim world to unite and expedite their efforts to provide humanitarian assistance to Palestinians.

He emphasized that Turkiye played an active role in the ceasefire agreement through its multilateral diplomatic efforts and praised the Palestinian people’s resistance in defending their land, despite the severe challenges they face.

Erdoğan also highlighted the inhumane treatment of Palestinian prisoners by Israel, stating that the images of hostage exchanges demonstrated who truly values human life and dignity.

He pointed out that while Palestinian prisoners in Israeli custody endure hunger and violence, those held by Hamas appear to be in better condition.

The Turkish president’s call comes at a time when the Palestinian people continue to face immense hardship, with millions displaced and dependent on aid for survival.

Erdoğan’s message urges a renewed commitment from the Muslim world to stand in solidarity with Palestine in this difficult time.
