President Erdoğan and His Wife Host Iftar for Women on International Women’s Day

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a special event titled “Turkiye Advances with Women” was held in Turkiye.

The event was hosted by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his wife, Emine Erdoğan. During the event, they also organized an iftar (fast-breaking meal) for women.

In his speech President Erdoğan expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the women who participated in the iftar, saying “I thank all the women who joined our iftar table from the bottom of my heart. Your presence has made our iftar special and unforgettable. This iftar, celebrated together with our sisters, was not just a moment to share a meal, but also a message of unity, solidarity, and collective progress.”

The “Turkiye Advances with Women” program is a platform designed to highlight the role of women in Turkiye and demonstrate the country’s commitment to progress alongside women.

The event underlined the determination to strengthen the positive role of women in society and empower them further.

“We will continue to work together to turn the dream of a bright and developed Turkiye into reality,” he concluded.
