PFOWA Hosts Annual Charity Bazaar 2024 in Islamabad

The Pakistan Foreign Office Women’s Association (PFOWA) successfully organized its Annual Charity Bazaar 2024, themed “PFOWA Joining hands, Joining hearts.” The event was inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and patron PFOWA, Begum Tabassum Ishaq Dar.

The charity bazaar was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, civil society, and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Foreign Missions in Islamabad participated enthusiastically, showcasing their rich culture, music, handicrafts, and cuisine through cultural performances and booths.

PFOWA, a registered charity, has been working for social welfare since 1947. The organization’s efforts are focused on supporting the welfare of low-paid employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and their families.

The PFOWA Annual Charity Bazaar is a significant event that raises funds for social welfare causes. This year’s event promoted cultural interaction and appreciation between Foreign Missions in Islamabad and Pakistani society.
