Pakistan’s DPM and FM, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, spoke with China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi China Reaffirm Strong Ties Amid Rising Tensions with India

In the midst of heightened tensions in South Asia, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, spoke with China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi to discuss the evolving regional situation following last night’s Indian military actions.

Senator Dar briefed the Chinese Foreign Minister on India’s recent aggression and Pakistan’s deliberate, measured response aimed at maintaining regional stability.

He emphasized that Pakistan’s actions were both restrained and calculated, reflecting its commitment to peace despite provocation.

In response, Wang Yi lauded Pakistan for showing restraint and acting responsibly during a highly sensitive time. Reiterating China’s unwavering support, he assured that Beijing would continue to stand firmly with Pakistan its all-weather strategic partner in defending its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Both leaders agreed to keep close contact and enhance coordination in the coming days, underlining the strength of their longstanding bilateral relationship.
