Islamabad / Beijing — Pakistan is set to acquire China’s most advanced stealth fighter jet, the J-35, which is the world’s second combat aircraft capable of taking off from an aircraft carrier. Defense experts say this development will significantly enhance the operational strength of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
In a recent demonstration, the J-35 was seen taking off from an aircraft carrier for the first time — an event hailed by global defense analysts as a “historic moment.” The aircraft is equipped with state-of-the-art stealth technology, extended range, and advanced weapon systems, giving Pakistan new air superiority in the region.
According to sources, China will deliver 40 J-35 fighter jets to Pakistan within this year. With their induction, the PAF will not only strengthen its conventional air defense capabilities but also tilt the regional strategic balance further in Pakistan’s favor.
Defense analysts believe the supply of the J-35 will be a true “game-changer” for Pakistan, as the combination of stealth technology and carrier-based operations will grant the country a new level of military capability.
