
Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, is set to attend the 11th Summit of the Developing Eight (D-8) countries in Cairo, Egypt, from December 18 to 20, 2024.
The summit, themed “Investing in Youth and Supporting SMEs: Shaping Tomorrow’s Economy,” aims to promote economic cooperation and development among D-8 member countries.
During the summit, Prime Minister Sharif will emphasize Pakistan’s commitment to youth empowerment, financial development, and local entrepreneurship.
He will also attend a special session on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and Lebanon.
The visit is expected to strengthen Pakistan’s relationships with other D-8 member countries and promote regional cooperation.
