Pakistan Cracks Down on Anti-State Propaganda with New Task Force

Pakistan’s government has taken a significant step to counter the growing threat of anti-state propaganda. A joint task force has been formed to identify and bring to justice individuals and groups involved in spreading false information about the country.

The task force, comprising 10 members, will focus on tracing those operating within Pakistan and abroad. Its primary objective is to recommend legal action against offenders and submit its findings within 10 days.

This move comes amid growing concerns over misinformation and its impact on Pakistan’s law and order situation. Recent incidents of terrorism and vandalism have led to a coordinated campaign against state institutions.

The government’s decision to form a task force is a clear indication of its commitment to countering anti-state propaganda and protecting national interests.
