Pakistan and Turkiye Strengthen Media Ties

Pakistan and Turkiye have signed a landmark agreement to boost media cooperation, including joint broadcasts between Pakistan Television (PTV) and Turkiye’s state-run television TRT.

This partnership is set to bring Turkish dramas, documentaries, and other content to Pakistani audiences, further strengthening the cultural bonds between the two nations.

The agreement was signed during a meeting between Information Minister Attaullah Tarar and Professor Fahrettin Altun, head of communications at the Turkish Presidency, in Istanbul.

The two countries have also agreed to form a working group to explore further opportunities for cooperation in the fields of entertainment, tourism, and joint projects.

This development is a testament to the strong brotherly relations between Pakistan and Turkiye, and is expected to promote greater understanding and exchange between the two nations.
