Pakistan and Azerbaijan have signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and agreements in a significant ceremony.
The event was attended by Pakistan’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, and Azerbaijan’s President, Ilham Aliyev.
The agreements cover a range of areas, including trade, defense, tourism, investment, energy, and technology, further strengthening the cooperation between the two nations.
A notable highlight of the ceremony was the signing of an MOU on cultural cooperation between the cities of Nakhchivan (Azerbaijan) and Lahore (Pakistan).
During the event, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, alongside President Ilham Aliyev, held a joint press conference. Prime Minister Sharif expressed his gratitude to President Aliyev for the warm invitation and hospitality.
He emphasized that the discussions with President Aliyev were highly constructive, and he proudly acknowledged the deep connection Azerbaijan’s leadership shares with the people of Pakistan.
