
The 7th edition of the prestigious Jinnah Young Writers Award ceremony was held in Ankara, Turkiye, celebrating the spirit of friendship and intellectual exchange between Pakistan and Turkiye.
Turkiye’s Deputy Minister for National Education, Ms. Celile Eren Okten, and Pakistan’s Ambassador, Dr. Yousaf Junaid, graced the occasion, highlighting the importance of cultural exchange and educational collaboration between the two nations.
This year’s competition saw talented senior high school students from across Turkiye participating in an essay contest that explored the theme “Enchanting Landscapes and Architectural Marvels: Exploring the beauty of Pakistan and Turkiye”.
The winners were awarded prizes, with Sultan Ayhan from Mehmet Uzel Sosyal Bilimler Lisesi Burdur securing the top spot.
The Jinnah Young Writers Award has become a symbol of the enduring friendship between Pakistan and Turkiye, fostering intellectual growth, cultural exchange, and mutual understanding.
