Israeli Forces Withdraw from Southern Lebanon, Maintain Presence at Border Posts

The Israeli army has pulled out from several towns in southern Lebanon, including Blida, Yaroun, and Maroun al-Ras, while continuing to station troops at five border posts.

Lebanese military forces have moved into the liberated areas to clear explosive remnants, with UN peacekeepers also patrolling the region.

Despite the withdrawal, tensions remain along the border between Lebanon and Israel.
