Pakistan Army spokesperson Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has stated that the response to Indian aggression will be decisive, and the time and place of retaliation will be determined by Pakistan.
During a press briefing on the recent situation following Indian strikes and Pakistan Army’s retaliatory actions, the Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) said that India carried out a cowardly attack under the cover of darkness, targeting mosques, civilian populations, and the structure of a hydropower project.
He confirmed that 26 civilians were martyred due to India targeting mosques, civilians, and hydro-infrastructure.
He further stated that Pakistan gave a strong and fitting response to Indian aggression, shooting down five Indian fighter jets and one drone, and destroying several Indian checkpoints. He affirmed that Pakistan will continue to respond with full force to any future aggression.
DG ISPR reiterated that the decision on how and when to respond will rest solely with Pakistan.
