
An informal meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) leaders took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The gathering was attended by King Abdullah of Jordan and President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt, alongside the GCC member states.
The meeting was convened following an invitation from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who called for a friendly and informal gathering of the region’s leaders.
During the discussion, the leaders focused on matters of mutual interest and exchanged views on the current situation in the region.
