Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has firmly rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal to take control of Gaza.
In response to Trump’s recent statements, Erdogan declared that no one has the right to expel Gaza’s people from their land.
He emphasized that the people of Gaza will stay in Gaza and continue to protect it.
Trump had suggested that the U.S. should take ownership of the Gaza Strip, aiming to bring stability and create jobs for the local population.
However, this idea has faced widespread opposition, including from the United Nations and several other countries, who are calling for a two-state solution and opposing the forced removal of Palestinians from Gaza.
Erdogan strongly criticized the plan, calling it “completely nonsense,” and reaffirmed Turkiye’s stance in support of Gaza’s people.
