In a bid to enhance the quality of life for its residents, the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has embarked on an ambitious project to improve road connections in 19 residential areas across the city.
The project, which spans a total length of 11.5 km, aims to provide seamless connectivity, reduce travel time, and promote a safer driving experience for residents and commuters alike.
The 19 areas slated for upgrade include Al Khawaneej 1, Al Barsha South 1, Nad Shamma, Jumeirah 1, and 15 other residential districts.
The project encompasses a range of improvements, including traffic upgrades, roadside parking, sidewalks, and street lighting.
By enhancing accessibility and streamlining vehicle entry and exit, the new road connections are expected to reduce travel time by up to 40%. This, in turn, will contribute to a smoother and safer driving experience, aligning with the RTA’s vision of being the global leader in seamless and sustainable mobility.
The project is a testament to Dubai’s commitment to providing world-class infrastructure and services to its residents, and is expected to have a positive impact on the overall quality of life in the city.
