Clashes Intensify in Hama as Syrian Army and Rebels Fight for Control

Fierce clashes are underway in Syria’s Hama province, where the Syrian army and rebels are battling for control of the strategic city of Hama. The fighting has resulted in significant casualties, with both sides suffering losses.

According to reports, the Syrian army has regained control of several villages with the help of airstrikes, while rebel groups deny these claims.

The rebels, led by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), have made significant gains in the region, capturing several towns and cities.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports that at least 13 Iranian-backed fighters and four civilians have been killed in the clashes.

The situation remains volatile, with both sides dug in and refusing to back down.

The conflict in Hama is part of a larger struggle for control of northern Syria, where various factions are vying for power.

The international community is watching the situation closely, with many calling for a ceasefire and a negotiated settlement to the conflict.
